Gibston Grey Stone

Gibston Grey

A uniformly light grey schist with many linear quartz layers with very few accessional light brown tones where the schist has oxidised. These can be hand selected out if required for the clients project.

It has a silver/shimmery effect, and can be seen in abundance around the Queenstown area.

This schist lends it self well to the contemporary style project and when split down to thin layers gives a stunning effect with linier boards and a plain flat plaster finish.

But can also be laid in its natural form to give that rustic look.

Paradise Stone

Paradise Stone

This stone is a sedimentary lime stone with a sandy and grey colour. Goes well with exposed mortar joint. Ideal for that House at the beach or Bach also the property at the lake.

It also blends well with native Palms and landscape.

Alexandra Brown Schist Stone

Alexandra Brown Schist

A rusty red and brown with grains of black, green and quartz veins running through it.

When exposed to the elements the iron within the schist oxidises over time which creates the earthy rich red, brown and purple tones, creating a interesting and textured look.

Perfect for that Rustic look with natural wooden beams and wooden windows, also excellent for the native landscape look.

Poolburn Schist Stone

Poolburn Schist

This schist has a finer grain running through it with respect to the Alexandra brown, and is predominantly a green grey, black and brown colour. Because the grain is fine it gives a woody look.

Again ideal for the rustic look with natural landscape and timber.
